What we clean
- Offices
- Insurance agencies, law and accounting offices, real estate and small company offices. Usually once to five nights a week.
- Medical and dental offices
- After hours only. Waiting rooms, exam rooms, operatories and restrooms, with door handles, counters and chairs disinfected. We never handle charts, screens or regulated medical waste.
- Retail stores
- Sales floor, fitting rooms, entry glass, restrooms and the back room, cleaned before you open or after you close.
- Light industrial break rooms and restrooms
- Break rooms, restrooms, locker areas and front offices at shops and plants. We don't do production floors, machinery or hazardous cleanup.
- Recurring janitorial or a one-time deep clean
- Most clients book a regular schedule. We also do one-time deep cleans (move-in, move-out, or catching up a space that's fallen behind), quoted after a walkthrough.
What each visit includes
- Trash and recycling taken out, new liners
- Restrooms cleaned, disinfected and restocked from your supplies
- Dusting: cleared desk areas, sills, ledges and baseboards
- Carpet vacuumed, hard floors mopped
- Entry glass, door handles and light switches wiped down
- Break room counters, sink and appliance fronts
- Lights off, doors locked, alarm set
Not included unless we agree in writing: outside windows, carpet shampooing, floor stripping and waxing, and medical waste or sharps.

About Bluestem
I started Bluestem in 2026 in Kokomo, and we're starting close to home: Kokomo, Greentown, Russiaville, Tipton, Peru, Logansport and the towns in between. We're a new company, so I'm not going to tell you about decades of experience. What I can tell you is how it works. You get one person to call. I clean your space myself with a small family team, using a written checklist for every room: color-coded cloths so restroom cloths never touch your desks, the right product for each surface, and a final walkthrough before we lock up.
Big bluestem is the tall native grass of Indiana's old prairies. It's tough, it roots deep, and it comes back every year. That's the idea.
